Product Overview

DualSense Edge Stick Modules – GuliKit 720° Adjustable TMR Thumbsticks

Drop-in replacement modules for the DualSense Edge, built around GuliKit’s latest 720° tension-adjustable TMR magnetic joysticks. These modules are designed for players who want consistent, drift-free input and the ability to set stick resistance exactly where they like it.

GuliKit’s TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) sensors use a contactless magnetic field sensing mechanism rather than the carbon-track potentiometers found in stock sticks. That means no wiper wear, no carbon dust, and a permanent fix for traditional stick-drift failure modes. The TMR sticks offer high precision, very low power consumption and smooth, stable response over time.

The built-in 720° “level-less” tension adjustment lets you dial in resistance across a continuous range instead of being locked to a few preset steps. The adjustment mechanism is hidden inside the stick assembly so it won’t move by accident during play.

These modules are assembled using GuliKit’s PS5-specific TMR joystick kit, which is a direct electrical replacement for DualSense and DualSense Edge hardware with no circuit modifications required. The joystick structure is designed to avoid interference from magnetic triggers, and is intended as a permanent repair for drift-affected controllers.

    Hall Effect Modules

Posted by Chad Lawrence (iRetro96) on 1st Jan 2025

I recently purchased a few products from Budd, and I couldn't be more impressed. His communication was exceptional—responsive, detailed, and thorough. He provided me with all the critical data points, including latency/input delay, speed, fluctuations, materials used, and personalized recommendations based on my competitive gaming needs (NBA 2K/Madden, COD). Despite his busy schedule, Budd always made time for me, even catering to specific requests to enhance my gaming experience. The Hall Effect modules I received exceeded my expectations for competitive gaming. Budd’s craftsmanship is second to none—it’s almost as if the module hadn’t even been opened or worked on, yet the performance improvement is undeniable. Compared to a standard DualSense Edge module, the difference is night and day. The precision, accuracy, and instant responsiveness to even the slightest movements have elevated my gameplay significantly. From now on, I’ll be exclusively ordering from Budd's Controllers, knowing I’ll receive top-tier products crafted with the highest-quality materials. Highly recommended!

    Love the decreased tension sticks

Posted by BJun on 8th Dec 2024

Due to my disability, the stiff thumb sticks on the Dualsense Edge cause quite a bit of pain for me. Having reduced tension significantly lessens the pain and these work great. After a couple of days of testing the one I ordered, I ordered 3 more.

Dual sense edge hall effect module

Posted by Ian on 25th Nov 2024

The wait time was about 3 weeks because of Sony's supply issues. But the product I received has been awesome so far. It actually made me go in and create custom profiles. If I never have to give Sony another dollar for a controller I'll be happy. FYI don't use 0% deadzone if you're platforming.

    Flawless.

This is the DualSense edge I expected out of the box. Flawless integration of the hall effect sensor to the stick module. Perfectly calibrated.

Increased tension, decreased tension and Hall effect stick modules

Posted by Jordan on 28th May 2024

I love the decreased tension stick as a player that plays max sensitivity in fps games. So much control cause even the slightest adjustment takes very little effort. Increased tension wasn’t for me but would be great for a player with strong hands and made tracking super easy, but target switching a little more difficult. It’s like running a lower sensitivity in the centre of the stick. The Hall effect stick felt off to me, like there was a delay or something not quite right. I play max sensitivity so little differences make it wildly different (overclocking etc). I can’t really give much of a review because I only played 30mins with it before changing back to the low tension sticks as that was more comfortable for me. With a bit more time playing I’m sure the Hall effect stick would be great
